Due to a scheduling conflict, our annual “Labor Day” Weekend Retreat will take place the weekend after Labor Day,  Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8 (Please see below the program). Our special guest is Swami Kripamayananda, head of the Vedanta Society of Toronto. His topic will be Prashnottara Ratna-Malika(A Necklace of Questions and Answers by Shankaracharya on spiritual life). Special guests Pravrajika Prabuddhaprana, of Sri Sarada Math, will also participate in one of the panel discussion groups, as well as Dr. Jeffrey Long, Professor of Religious Studies at Elizabethtown College. The weekend program will also include a vocal concert Saturday (September 7) night by Sri Suranjan Bhanja Choudhury, a renowned Hindustani artist who has performed here on earlier occasions.
